Labor Day along Florida’s Emerald Coast

Summer doesn’t have to be over just yet!! There’s more to do and see along the panhandle that you’ll know what to do with, so grab the dog, the kids and grandma, and head on down to the sunshine and warm waters and enough events to keep everyone happy!



One of the most attended weekend events is sure to be Pepsi’s Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach. Headlining this year are country music legends: Kid Rock, Jason Aldean and Tim McGraw! Ticketing information and exact showtimes can be found online: http://gulfcoastjam.com.


Wanting to give back to your community? Register HERE for the 8th Annual Alys Beach 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run, presented by the Alys Foundation, on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Alys Beach, Florida. Located along Hwy 30A, the course winds through the resort town and ends with an oversized bounce house for kids of all ages, music, food, and beverages available in the Amphitheater. Funds may be used to finance community, environmental, cultural and educational programs at Alys Beach as well as to support nonprofit organizations in the greater Walton County community. Proceeds from the 2019 race will benefit Children In Crisis.


Enjoy free day-use admission to Grayton Beach State Parkand Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in South Walton, compliments of Visit South Walton and spend the day on the beaches and exploring the Coastal Dune Lakes. Grayton Beach State Park provides parking with access to a full mile of beachfront. The park also offers a boat ramp on Western Lake for both fresh water and saltwater fishing. Hikers and bikers can explore a nature trail through the pine flatwoods.

Baytown Art Walk: Stroll the village streets and browse a variety of artwork from both regional and local artists. Enjoy live music each night from local entertainers. Head over to Seaside where Central Square Cinema will feature the movie “The Secret Life of Pets” at 8 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Seaside Amphitheater. Enjoy music from The Vegabonds at 7 p.m. Aug. 31.
